ADVICE FOR LAWYERS
I am the General Counsel at a tech company in Los Angeles. On my path to becoming General Counsel, I was a student at two law schools (I transferred to Columbia Law School), a summer associate at two different law firms, a corporate associate at two top-tier law firms (one in New York and one in Los Angeles) and an in-house lawyer at two large public companies. I also served as a law clerk to a federal judge in the U.S. District Court. I am not the most gifted lawyer (not even close) nor the most experienced one, but I believe I am uniquely positioned to help lawyers (or soon-to-be lawyers) make the best decisions to help further their legal careers.
HOW CAN I HELP?
My mission is simple: To understand you and your goals, and to then give you my perspective on important decisions that you need to make (right now and in the future) in order to achieve those goals.
I aim to be a consultant, coach and advisor. I might tell you what you already know, but you just needed to hear it from one more source.
IS THIS RIGHT FOR YOU?
These are some of the questions that I believe I can help with:
Which law firm should I go to?
What practice area is right for me?
Should I stay at the firm or go in-house?
How do I keep moving up in my organization?
How do I navigate the politics of my executive team?
Should I take this opportunity now or wait for something else to come along?
